Husband and I had our Johnson and Johnson Covid19 Shots on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 @ 8:45am. We both had sore arms for a couple of days. That's where the similarities ended. The day of the vaccine, my husband started feeling very tired and by 11:30am, he went to bed to take a nap. He woke up at 3:30 feeling fine.
Me? I ran some errands and went to the store, bought some groceries and about 6 cases of water. Absolutely no problem. I was feeling great. Until 3am. Went to bed around 11:30pm. Woke up Wednesday morning at 3am. My arm was really sore. I got up and decided to just stay in the livingroom and watch tv. By the time I reached the livingroom, I realized I was feeling so great. I didn't have a fever, but my arm was seriously sore and hurting and I felt nauseous. I spent all Wednesday, sleeping. I didn't want anything to eat. I couldn't stomach the idea of food. I didn't want anything. I sipped on water. But sleeping is all I wanted to do. I had to force myself to stay awake even just for an hour. I just couldn't do it. Now, I will say, that this is how I always react when I'm not feeling well. I sleep. A lot. It's how my husband knows I'm not well. I'm usually up and running around after about 4-6 hours of sleep. I've always been like that. Unless I'm not feeling well. Ok ... Back to symptoms. By 5:30pm Wednesday, I was able to stay awake without effort. By 11:30pm Wednesday night, I was actually hungry and wanted to eat. The down side to all that sleep, was that I stayed up all night and I felt great. So, my symptoms started about 6 hours after the shot and lasted about 19 hours.
My sister, in her 50's, had the Johnson and Johnson Vaccine, absolutely no issues or side effects.
My mother, a diabetic, and stepfather, who has leukemia, both in their 80's, had the Johnson and Johnson Vaccine, absolutely no issues or side effects.
My husband, in his 50's and a recent transplant recipient, had the Johnson and Johnson Vaccine, only felt a little tired, took a nap and did great after that.
Me?? I'm in my 60's, with no known health problems, and I get hit the hardest. Lol...go figure. But it wasn't too had and it didn't last long. | Symptoms: Fatigue, Soreness
