I have had the Coronavirus / Covid-19 since Monday 23 March. At least I think I have, I have most of the symptoms so I guess I probably do. I thought it might be helpful to document how its been for me in case anyone gets it and wants to read how other peopleDay one: I wake up with a temperature and a feeling I have been run over by a truck. No cough though. I don't have a thermometer so I don't know my reading, but I can tell I am boiling hot. I check the NHS 111 site, it says I have suspected Coronavirus and to self-isolate
Day two: I wake up - I feel absolutely fine. Absolutely no symptoms. Have I caught a break? I login remotely to work, have some virtual meetings and feel generally healthy though a bit tired. That evening, I start to ache, my head hurts and I sweat a lot.
Day three: that truck hit me again. Then backed up, reversed over me and parked on my head. It then loaded up some iron bars, idled while the driver had a smoke then drove off. I start to feel better as the day goes on, but my body aches my head hurts.
Day four: as day three, but with a slightly smaller truck. I take out the trash (Arnie style) wearing improvised PPE to try to avoid infecting anyone else. I get back inside and wheeze heavily. A nonsensical discussion with friends via Houseparty improves my mood immensely
Day five: slowly getting better. Still have the headaches, I tire easily and occasional body pain and aches, but not as bad as previously. My chest is mostly clear but I wheeze a little. Luckily I seem to have got off lightly so far.
