I have been giving my 5 month old teddy poo dream bones for about a week and a half she usually just bites on them and hides them around the house without actually eating them, well she finally started eating them, two nights ago she was hacking like she had something stuck so I gave her some water she was still hacking but finally stopped a couple minutes later, was fine into next day until around 4 she started hacking again then stopped but then started like she was going to throw up. She threw up big long pieces of these bones and yellow bile. She then went under the bed and collapsed not able to move and twitching (which the vet believes was a seizure) she came about ten minutes later but could still not move and body was swaying back and forth when she would pick up her head which her head would then just drop back down even though you could see she was fighting to try and get it up, she was hardly breathing. I rushed her to the emergency vet where they did blood work, liver tests, poison check, the whole nine yards and it was all clear, just for that and the visit fee plus an iv for hydration cost me 900 dollars which was every dime I had to my name so I did not even have enough for them to do an x-ray or keep her over night. It is now the next day and she is more lively than she was but still very lathargic and not wanting to eat, her eyes are very bloodshot and she is what looks like to be pushing out her lower show and consistently showing her bottom teeth. Her eyes look so sad and I know that these bones are what did this to my poor puppy. I got her for my now 3 yr old for her birthday, her dad died and he wanted to get her a puppy when she turned 3 so I took again the only money I had besides 300 extra I had left over and bought her a dog ($2,000). I will be borrowing the money tomorrow from a family member to bring her to my normal vet for x-rays and to get confirmed that it was the bones (even though I know it was) once I do I will be taking to court. These bones should not be aloud on the shelves!!!!! Why are they after so many dogs have died?!? So many injured and deathly sick from these! This is outrageous. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Dehydration, Bile
