The facility now accepts and treats patients that may be Covid-19 presumptive, or positive, when prior such patients were not allowed or treated by the healthcare staff. These patients are symptomatic and are screened for illnesses such as strep throat, flu, and Covid-19. This increases the potential for employees to become infected and infect each other. 2. The employer has provided a product that says it is N-95, but it is possible it is a counterfeit. The respirator is of an asian manufacturer and the respirator does not have the NIOSH TC number on the box nor the respirator itself that are features of an actual NIOSH certified N-95 respirator. 3.
