Regulatory Report

11188 Diebold Road, Fort Wayne, 46845 Indiana, United States

Employer did not formally inform staff, as stated as protocol in CDC guidelines, of possible Covid-19 exposure from a fellow employee, whom was instructed to quarantine for 14 days by a separate healthcare physician. With this lack of information, any and all staff members whom had been in contact with this employee were unaware of the violation of the CDC's guidelines to be quarantining, as well, after having exposure to this co-worker while primarily caring for elderly patients. In addition, on March 19, 2020, employer, PII, violated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by exposing quarantined employees medical information, related to the Covid-19 exposure, to another non managerial faculty member. On March 20, 2020, acting manager, PII, also violated the ADA by exposing why the quarantining employee was absent from work to non managerial employees, and expressed to various staff members that she believed that the quarantined employee was over-exaggerating symptoms and that Covid-19 protocol was unnecessary as a whole.
