The employer did not ensure to identify and clean surfaces and equipment used by a COVID-19 case in which employees will be required to touch or use within the next 24 hours of a known COVID-19 case using or touching such areas or equipment such as but not limited to doorknobs, elevator buttons, equipment, tools, handrails, handles, controls, phones, headsets and bathroom surfaces. T8 CCR 3205(c)(7)(B)(2). Additional Information: 2. The employer did not ensure that they communicated with employees about the employer's COVID-19 policies and procedures and the hazards associated with COVID-19. T8 CCR 3205(c)(1)(D). 3. The employer did not ensure to conduct a worksite-specific identification of all interactions, areas, activities, processes, equipment and materials that could potentially expose employees to COVID-19 hazards in the COVID-19 testing area of the establishment. T8 CCR 3205(c)(2)(D). 4. The employer did not ensure to evaluate how to maximize ventilation with outdoor air and increase filtration efficiency to the maximum level compatible with the current HVAC system which is servicing the establishment. T8 CCR 3205(c)(2)(E). 5. The employer did not ensure that employees who exposed to a known COVID-19 case during the high-risk exposure period were given notification of the exposure within one business day. T8 CCR 3205(c)(3)(B)(3). 6. The employer did not ensure to exclude unvaccinated employees who were exposed to a COVID-19 case from the workplace until the requirements of subsection (c)(10) are met.
