1. The employer is failing to identify the hazards of students exposing teachers to COVID-19. The employer is not following school policy that students who do not have signed medical exemptions are maintaining social distance when not wearing a face mask. This is occurring in classrooms 3, 7, 8, 20, 22 and 34. T8 CCR 3203(a)(4) & (6) 2. The employer is failing to ensure that students who are not wearing a face mask or shield are provided a signed medical note for exemption. Students are allowed to interact with teachers without signed exemptions and possibly expose teachers to COVID-19. This is occurring in classrooms 3, 7, 8, 20, 22 and 34. T8 CCR 3205(c)(6)(E) 3. The employer failed to ensure that children who have symptoms related to COVID-19 do not report to school to prevent exposure to employees. A child arrived at school on or around 9/1/21 with COVID-19 related symptoms and came into contact with employees throughout their shift. T8 CCR 3205(c)(1)(D) and (c)(2)(D)
