Regulatory Report
Batesville, 47006 Indiana, United States
No masking occurring at place of business, despite pleas from employees and patrons. Owner of business refuses to comply with mask mandates, does not mask herself, and does not require students nor teachers to mask during lessons. The building is very small with a tiny waiting room area which is constantly overcrowded with unmasked people. Lesson rooms themselves are extremely small and perfect breeding grounds for the virus as social distance is impossible to maintain and teachers and students refuse to wear masks. Concerts are being held at this location, with no masking required, and no social distancing at concerts. The most recent was December 16th, where dozens of people gathered in close proximity for a piano recital featuring a teacher and her students all unmasked. Another concert is planned for the evenings of January 16th and 17th, where more unmasked gathering will take place in close proximity. Videos of the above concert and evidence of this planned concert can be easily found on their FB page: misss hannon studio. I am increasingly worried and dismayed to witness the constant spread of COVID-19 at a place of business which could so easily follow the law and all moral reasoning and require masks at the very minimum, as well as close the waiting room area. Countless of my students have contracted the virus, as have countless students with other teachers. I am 100% sure outbreaks have followed the dangerous conditions at this place of business, as is clear from my experience teaching there, and other teachers who inform me of their own sickness and the sickness they see in their students.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2021-01-06
