1. I was exposed to COVID by my mother (close contact) on October 19th. As soon as my results came back negative my employer disregarded the CDC regulations and made me come back to work. As per the regulations I was not supposed to go back to work until two weeks after exposure. On October 31st (I informed them that I would not be there days prior) I did not go to work because it had not been two weeks since being exposed and my employer disregarded protocol and fired me. He was aware of the regulations because when I showed up to my shift the Sunday I got my results back (October 25th), he is the one that informed me on these regulations stating, "you're technically not supposed to work for two weeks after being exposed as per the CDC". He continued to disregard them and had me finish my shift anyway despite the potential risk I was to other employees and customers. I believe I was wrongfully terminated today (11/5). The excuse (general manager) was that I had a "no call, no show" but I warned them (all three managers to be exact) in advance that I would not be there and that I should have never been scheduled due to my COVID exposure.Alleged Hazards: 1, Employees Exposed: 1
