On Monday, June 29th, an employee disclosed that a family member had been confirmed with coronavirus and that they had been exposed. The employer then required the employee to clock in and close the restaurant for the night. This potentially exposed all guests and employees that night. The employer is not following Executive Orders as follows: 1) not assuring six feet of separation between guests; 2) not providing communication material for customers; 3) not providing physical guides to keep guests six feet apart; 4) not posting signs and enforcing the use of wearing face masks by guests in the dining area; 5) not cleaning high contact areas after each customer; 6) not requiring employees to wear face coverings and gloves in the kitchen area when handling food consistent with guidelines from the Food and Drug Administration; 7) not training employees regarding appropriate use of personal protective equipment in conjunction with food safety guidelines (e.g., cleaning between customers, especially shared condiments); 8) not establishing procedures on how to manage symptomatic customers upon entry into the restaurant; 9) not installing physical barriers such as sneeze guards; and 10) not limiting the number of employees in a single space.3 weeks ago •reported by user-wqky9722 • details
