The employer does not have an effective COVID-19 prevention program, which would include making sick workers and workers who have had close contact with somebody who has tested positive for COVID-19 stay at home. An employee has a spouse who tested positive for COVID-19. This employee continued coming into work, did not wear a face covering while working, and began exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 on Saturday (November 20, 2021). The employer did not send the employee home. The employee tried calling off work on Sunday (November 21, 2021), but the employer said the employee must come into to work. On Monday (November 22, 2021), the employee tested positive for COVID-19. In addition, the employer did not notify other employees that they were close contacts with this co-worker who tested positive for COVID-19.Alleged Hazards: 1, Employees Exposed: 2
