Regulatory Report

4872 South Lapeer Road, Orion charter Township, 48359 Michigan, United States

1. On September 29th an employee working the afternoon shift tested positive for Covid-19. The employee came back to work and was sent home that following Wednesday along with a few other employees who were said to be in contact with the positive employee. Other employees were not informed of this information directly from the Human Resources department, they were told by other employees working that shift. 2. Employees received a text message later that Wednesday stating they had done a deep clean and they were following CDC guidelines without explaining the event of what had happened. 3. Friday, October 2nd two more employees were sent home on the afternoon shift that had tested positive for COVID-19. Employees were notified by other employees about this, not human resources. 4. After this they still let employees come into work, posting in the middle of the night that they had deep cleaned but employees aren't seeing any additional cleaning other than normal janitorial cleaning. 5. Employees don't feel safe going to work while they are deep cleaning which consists of employees on morning shift walking around with spray bottles. 6. Employees who want to stay home due to concerns receive attendance points. 7. They have not shut down the plant to properly clean while there are no employees present in the building. 8. The facility has 9 positive COVID-19 cases. 9. Employees do not consistently have their temperature checked upon arrival (sometimes later) or not at all. 10. Management sometimes do not wear their masks properly (under the chin).
