Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, Target Distribution Center, 12735 East L Ave, GALESBURG, MI, 49053, USA

4 years ago business

12735 East L Avenue, Galesburg, 49053 Michigan, United States

1. There have been over 100 positive cases of Covid in the last 3 months. 2. The employer informed floor workers last week that employees will be required to sign a paper that says they checked their temperature at home. Each time one of the floor workers asks Human Resources why they will not perform a more thorough testing system before employees come in, they are told its required by law and given no other explanation. 3. A team member who was positive with symptoms still came into work and did not wear a mask the entire week they were waiting for the results. When the results came back positive, none of the floor workers who were in contact with the team member were notified they could be at risk. 4. Employees are not getting adequate time off when they are waiting to get a test or waiting for results. They are scared to get an absence and/or can not afford the time off. Warehouse workers are given an occurrence for taking days off to wait for the results to come back if they are not showing symptoms. They allow employees to return to work while waiting for results if that person states they have no symptoms.
