1. Employees are forced to conduct a heavy check (C Check) outside on the ramp. Heavy checks are designed to be performed in hangers which are equipped with wing docks and tail docks to safely access the higher areas of the aircraft. Employees are forced to perform these heavy checks outside on a dark ramp at night, in triple digit ramp temperatures in the summer and cold conditions in winter. Additionally, these checks are performed outside during high winds when employees are in man lifts.
