5132 Metric Road, Laurens, 29360 South Carolina, United States

1. There is no Hazard Communication Program established and implemented for employees handling ammonia, acid and zinc. 2. Employees are exposed to ammonia fumes at the Kettle Area. The kettle is 40 feet long by 7 feet wide and 10 feet deep. The kettle is used to melt zinc. If the beams are not galvanized correctly, employees will add ammonia pellets to the tank creating the fumes. There no ventilation to exhaust the fumes. 3. Employees are experiencing respiratory and eye irritations while acid tanks are being filled at the main production area. There's no ventilation or respiratory protection. 4. Employees were not informed that employees have tested positive for COVID-19. Employees working in direct contact could be infected by the virus.
