The employer did not maintain an effective injury and illness prevention program in that the employer did not ensure that COVID-19 precautions per the state executive and local public health department orders are being followed at the workplace in the following instances: Description of complaint: Employee states that none in the office wears a facial coverings, and facial covering mandates are not being enforced by the employer. 1.The employer did not ensure employees are wearing facial coverings properly. Ref T8CCR 3205(c)(7)(A). Description of complaint: Employee states that the employer is not conducting regular sanitization of high touch surfaces. 2.The employer did not implement a cleaning and disinfecting procedure to disinfect high touch surfaces/objects in the place of employment. Ref T8CCR 3205(c)(8)(C) Description of complaint: Employee states that employees cannot maintain physical distance between employees in the office. 3. The employer did not ensure employees can maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet between each other at all times. Ref T8CCR 3205(c)(6)(A).
