1. The employer is not ensuring that employees are being immediately tested following an outbreak. In the month of December, there were 20 positive cases and in January there have been 5 cases. T8 CCR 3205.1 (b)(1) 2. The employer is failing to ensure that high touch areas are cleaned efficiently and often enough in the warehouse and offices. T8 CCR 3205(c)(8)(C ) 3. The employer is not enforcing social distancing in the bathrooms and during staff meetings. In the bathrooms, there are no individual sinks, and multiple employees can stand right next to one another without keeping distance. During staff meetings, due to the noise, employees stand close to one another while also removing facemasks to eat a snack or drink a beverage. T8 CCR 3205(c)(6)(a) 4. The employer is not following current state policy that people traveling from out of state quarantine before coming on to the property. Out of state customers are allowed to visit the facility without quarantine first and are leaving employees subject to being exposed. T8 3203(a)(4) & (6) 5. The employer is not enforcing that face masks be worn at all times. Higher up management are seen not wearing facemasks, nor are they worn during staff meetings.
