1. Ignoring or modifying government Covid mandates because ABA is medically necessary and an "essential service". 2. The employer is still operating a center-based program without evaluating client need (best practice is suspending therapy or providing home-based services). 3. Operating daily with clients and staff totaling over 50 onsite in close quarters. 4. Not following appropriate cleaning guidelines. 5. Staff were just provided personal protective equipment last week. 6. Employer is requiring in-person work when TeleHealth is available. 7. Employees are opening new cases in-person. 8. All employees are not completing health screening forms for themselves and their patients. 9. Employees are not following quarantine guidelines when symptoms of Covid are identified in both staff and clients. 10. The employer is allowing client contact with staff and not limiting the amount of people in small areas. 11. The employer is not following social distancing due to client needs and space constraints. 12. There have been several company emails encouraging "business as usual" and pushing families to add more hours or to resume services. 13. BCBA's have been disciplined for recommending cases go on hold due to medically fragile clients.
