Alleged Hazard(s): 1. The temperature in the blood draw station and laboratory is very hot, humid, and management refuses to make temperature adjustments (temperatures are between 75 and 78 degrees with 45% - 50% humidity and the phlebotomists are constantly pouring sweat and overheating). 2. Patients complain about the heat affecting them negatively (elderly patients are having difficulty breathing). 3. Management has taken out all access to water for employees as they don't want to spread Coronavirus (the only water access for patients is in the cafe, but employees have been told by management that we are not allowed to use this water access as it is for patients only). Management's "solution" to this is that they provide one single bottle of water per employee. 4. Employees use water from bathroom sinks to have access to water. 5. On 6/3/2020, a phlebotomist got so overheated they stopped sweating completely and had to go to urgent care to receive 2 liters of fluids via IV from being so dehydrated. When brought again to management's attention on 6/5/2020, the phlebotomist was accused of not properly hydrating themselves and that it was not their fault but that of the employee (despite them drinking so much bathroom sink water that their stomach hurts) 6. When asked about turning the temperature down, employees are told that the doctors do not like their offices cool so we are going to have to accept the temperatures the way they are. 7.
