C-2 housing Unit: 1. Staff assigned to work in this area are not provided the proper PPE or a safe, clean, and sanitized area for donning and doffing their PPE. Currently staff are utilizing the Unit Officer's office for donning and doffing which is kept in clean condition. 2. 29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i) continues to be violated as the employer is not properly storing respirators in a way to protect them from damage and contamination as they are being stored with used and contaminated PPE. The agency has failed to properly keep staff safe from COVID-19 contamination in the C-2 housing unit. Special Housing Unit: 3. Staff are not provided with the proper PPE to keep them safe from COVID-19 such as gowns, face shields, masks and latex gloves. On 12/10/2020, an employee reported pain, redness and a burning sensation from being directly exposed to bleach.Alleged Hazards: 3, Employees Exposed: 50
