Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, U.S. POSTAL SERVICE, 3800 BUCHTEL BLVD., DENVER, CO, 80210, USA

5 years ago business

3800 Buchtel Boulevard South, Denver, 80210 Colorado, United States

It was reported that employees are potentially exposed to health hazards associated with COVID-19. Specifically, it was reported that 3 employees have tested positive for COVID-19, yet employees were not notified. It was further reported that employees who were in direct contact with those who tested positive were not required to get tested or self-quarantine for any amount of time, and continued to work with other employees. The employer has not enforced and implemented precautions such as, but not limited to, self-quarantining of those employees that may have had exposure from a coworker and disinfecting the workstations of those confirmed positive for COVID-19. In addition, it was reported that a vehicle was loaded for mail delivery, by an employee conformed positive for COVID-19, who was then told to go home due to their positive confirmation, but the loaded vehicle was then assigned to another driver to deliver the mail, without cleaning or disinfecting the vehicle and its mail load. This is contrary to Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act.
