1. Employees are exposed to COVID-19. The employer fails to notify employees of their potential exposure when a positive case of COVID-19 in the facility is identified or confirmed. Applicable OSHA Standard: Section 5(a)(1) of the 1970 OSH Act 2. Employees are exposed to COVID-19. The employer does not clean and sanitize the facility as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control after a positive case of COVID-19 in the facility is identified or confirmed. Applicable OSHA Standard: Section 5(a)(1) of the 1970 OSH Act 3. Employees required to work in the "COVID Clinic" are exposed to COVID-19. The employer has not developed and implemented a written respiratory protection program that includes initial and annual fit testing for those required to wear tight fitting respiratory protection, as well as, all other elements required under OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard. Applicable OSHA Standard: 29 CFR 1910.134 4. Employees are exposed to COVID-19. Employees required to provide care to patients suspect or positive for COVID-19 are not provided with adequate personal protective equipment, including N95 filtering face piece respirators or higher level protection, eye protection (i.e., goggles or a disposable face shield that covers the front and sides of the face), gloves, and gown.
