1 The employer is giving facemasks to employees inside of the facility, after significant time that asymptomatic but Covid-19 employees are inside of the work areas breathing without masks before donning them. Since all employees must pass through security it was suggested that facemasks are handed to employees prior to entering the building.2 In work areas such as pouching, 5 to 6 employees are working well within 6 feet of each other, therefore not maintaining social distancing.
3 In all work areas, some employees do not wear facemasks, increasing the possibility that asymptomatic but Covid-19 positive employees can infect other workers. The employer is not requiring the use of facemasks for all employees.
4 Mail handling machine computer screens, control buttons, E-stops, and other devices commonly touched by many employees are not regularly sanitized.
5 In the swing room cafeteria, as many as 75 employees from a given department will assemble close together, and as many as 3 people will sit at a table to eat and socialize, not maintaining social distancing.
