I purchased some "handcrafted jewellery" from an online store called Nola Jewellery Melbourne. The website has many pictures of beautiful jewellery with descriptions that include 'stone', 'crystal', gold, metal, etc. The story is that a closing down sale is in progress after many years of producing handcrafted jewellery. The prices are high but the "final days" discounts are reasonable. The items are sent from the Australian business address but are cheap plastic items that are also sold through Shein and AliExpress. Photos show advertised item and the item sent. The company will engage in drawn-out negotiations around more discounts before requiring you to return the items to China at your own expense (which is not a legal requirement).
