A boil water advisory for several neighborhoods in Northwest went into effect Wednesday afternoon, May 8 due to a water main break that led to a significant drop in water pressure. The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) issued the advisory for 4,800 customers in the following areas: Upper Chevy Chase, Ft.
