Southwest H K Dodgen Loop, Temple, Texas, United States
The City of Temple is once again providing public notification of significant sewer overflows from its collection system. A sanitary sewer overflow started near 2009 Birdcreek Terrace and 2006 S 65th Street at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday. This was due to rainfall overloading the sewer system. According to the city, the affected area is Bird Creek, on the north and south sides of SW H K Dodgen Loop. Persons using private drinking water supply wells located within 1/2-mile of the spill site or within the potentially affected area should use only water that has been distilled or boiled at a rolling boil for at least one minute for all personal uses including drinking, cooking, bathing, and tooth brushing.Source: www.fox44news.com/news/local-news/bell-county/rainfall-causes-sewer-overflow-in-bird-creek-area-3/
