E. coli bacteria have been detected in some samples of the water supply in parts of West Baltimore, city officials announced Monday. The city Department of Public Works is encouraging residents in the affected neighborhoods ( Sandtown-Winchester and Harlem Park) to boil water used for drinking or cooking.
