Four boil orders are currently in effect in north central Arkansas. One order was put in effect Thursday morning for a portion of the West Stone County Water Association in Stone and Searcy counties. The order was issued due to a main break and affects the customers in the eastern portion of the system from Mountain View west to Timbo.

Another boil order is for a portion of Mountain View Waterworks in Stone County. It was put in effect Thursday morning for Lots 1 through 80 in the Tubbs Subdivision section north of Lick Fork Creek, the entire Cedar Hills Subdivision and customers along Allison Drive and Annette Lane. The order was issued due to a water line break.

In addition, a boil order was issued Tuesday evening for a portion of the Southwest Boone County Water Association in Boone and Newton counties. The order affects customers along Arkansas Highway 43 South between the wellhouse and the Harrison city limits and includes all side roads (Wagner Loop, Cowan Loop, Valley Church Road, etc). The order was issued due to a water line break.

Another boil order went into effect Wednesday afternoon for a portion of Compton Waterworks in Newton County. The order affects the north side of the system beginning from the Compton water tank. The order was issued due to a construction-related water line break.
