A precautionary boil order was issued Tuesday afternoon, Jan 16th, for the entire Mountain View water system as the result of the loss of normal system pressure from a pump malfunction. Because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system, the water may be unsafe for human consumption.
