The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a boil water advisory for the City of Kingman. The Boil Water Advisory for Kingman County Rural Water District No. 1 remains in effect.

The advisory was put in effect due to a water main break which caused a loss of pressure in the system supporting the residents south of E. 8th Street and east of Main Street.
