Authorities in Rapids City, Illinois have issued a boil water advisory for the following water users: All properties on the north side of Route 84Properties on the south side of Route 84 with addresses of 1202 - 1626
3rd Avenue with addresses of 1201 - 1416
4th Avenue with addresses of 1203 - 1319
Both sides of 13th Street with addresses of 227 - 338
Both sides of 14th Street with addresses of 226 - 419
Both sides of 15th Street with addresses of 303 - 511.
The water service repairs are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 2 to replace a broken water valve. Once water services are restored, a precautionary boil order will go into effect for affected areas.
