Several boil water orders have been issued in Stone and Newton counties. According to the Arkansas Department of Health, a boil order was issued Sunday for residents in Mountain View Waterworks for customers along Herpel Road and all side roads between Webacres Road and Possum Trot Road due to a water line break. A boil order was also issued for the Pleasant Grove Water System for the St. James East to the end of the system due to a main break. In Newton County, a boil order was issued for Compton Waterworks for residents in the area of the Compton Tank to the Newton County line.
