Connelly Springs Road, Lenoir, North Carolina, United States

A water line break on Connelly Springs Road near Not Just Fishin caused a loss in pressure in the water system and an increase in turbidity (cloudiness). City of Lenoir Water Treatment plant staff have issued a boil water notice as a result. The break primarily affected water customers living in southwestern portions of Lenoir and Caldwell County, especially customers living on or off of Connelly Springs Road. The waterline break occurred on a 30-inch water transmission line last night, Friday, June 23, 2023. City staff repaired the line around 4:45 am this morning, Saturday, June 24, 2023.
