Due to water main valve replacements, the Jasper Municipal Water Department issued a neighborhood boil order affecting a small part of the city. The area affected is Bartley Street from Sixth Stree to Ninth Street and from Ninth Street from Bartley to Mill Street. No other areas are affected by the boil order. Residents affected are asked to boil their water for 5 minutes before human and pet consumption.
