I ordered 2 sets of folding shelves from this company listing these on Facebook Marketplace. I realized the price of $10 each was far below normal price of $79 each. I looked up the company and found it to be fraudulent so I reported it to Chase to get a new card! Total scam!
Update: They don't have a website but I responded to their email to try and get a refund. I also talked to Chase and got a new card. Once the payment was processed, I disputed it. There was a full refund issued a couple of days later. Shame on Facebook for allowing such scams. Now I have to change all my accounts associated with the the old card. Shame on me for falling for this!!
I lost £700 on these bogus fashion websites. It was mainly Google and later facebook who allowed them to rip people off for over 6 months. I still havent got any refunds as such because they simply didnt exist. It was the work of one person probably but i dont even think the police could catch him/her. It is disgusting! Now i am much more wary and clued up. I wouldnt fall for it again. The banks should and could do MUCH more to protect its customers.
