I received a woman's ring in the mail today from global gemological research academy, the address from where it was sent is online seller 2700 center drive DuPont WA 98327 I think it's a scamI'm in Pennsylvania

I also received a similar ring today, USPS lst class, mailed from 8000 No Virginia St, Reno, NV 89506,GGRA (also). I thought it was my boyfriend asking me to marry him but then I realized I didn't have a boyfriend. Sigh...

Same thing happened to me except mine came from Moreno Valley, CA and USPS needed $5.75 postage. I paid the postage because I thought it was something else that I had ordered off of facebook. I did not order this ring though.
I also received the similar ring in the mail from Gematological Research Academy in Canada. It was sent from 4567 Dixie Road, Mississauga,Ontario,M0R 4YD I am staying in Quebec, Montreal. I started searching the information about this Academy. I found I am sure that it is a scam.

Exactly the same thing just hapened to me.
Same. Mine came from #13 - 1030 Kamato Rd. Mississauga Ontario, Canada V4W 4B6. I am in Pitt Meadows BC. It came with a certificate, a plastic wallet warranty card like a credit card, and an ID paper in the rings bag - all with the same warranty ID # on it "652652747". The credit card is the only thing with contact info on it and says to "register my purchase" LOL, I did not buy this... at www.gra-moissanite.cn

I received one today from 19301 Gateway Dr, Torrance CA. I immediately thought scam !!! And the ring doesn’t fit.

I think this is what is called a brushing scam. A company sends out unordered items or even empty envelopes then reviews their own product in your name. The more 5 star reviews they get the higher up they are placed in searches but also more people buy because they believe the reviews are real. I think if the return address is an Amazon fulfillment center Amazon wants consumers to contact them so they can stop those companies from selling on their site? If you are still unsure you can contact the attorney General of your given state for guidance.
I got the same ring in the mail today but i was expecting a package from some other on line store and I never got what I had ordered but it says it was delivered today. So please tell me what is going on.

This is making sense, I ordered a M & S track suit then realised that this was being shipped from abroad, maybe China? Got this ring. Not what I ordered! I don’t understand why?
Same here. I ordered clothing from an add on my Facebook feed. Clothes never showed up, this ring did. If you go on the actual GRA website and enter the certificate number from the report that came with it, it will tell you the number does not exist. It's one of many Chinese scams. I also ordered an electric bike from another Facebook online seller. Bike never showed up, got knock of Ray Ban sunglasses from China instead. beware of online stores showing up on your Facebook feed.
What should we do with it? I got same and I cannot trace who sent it

I also got a ring instead of my order of clothes from OUSELL..When I contact seller they see on tracking that I recived my pacel . They sent a 4-USD ring instead of my order. Don`t buy anything from OUSELL .
I received the same ring too today 1/30/2023! I live in Georgia! They sent a card that look like a credit card and said for me to register the ring with the number on back of the card. I didn't do it!! I think they are just trying to get some personal information out of me. I didn't respond to them at all!
Ditto on the ring and the card. I don’t see any charges for it on my accounts, so I think the idea it’s a “brushing scam” is correct. Mine came from Jane in Cedar Grove NJ

Today, February 4, 2022, I received that ring from this strange seller: CITY FRESH COME 2001 WEST MISSION BLVD SUITE A POMONA CA 91766. Of course it's a scam. I will bring it to the Police station and write a report.
Yesterday, February 7, 2023. Received a diamond looking adjustable ring from the seller noted above: City Fresh Come 2001 West Mission Blvd. Suite A, Pomona California 91766. Same situation as everyone else. Keeping an eye on my accounts. Definitely must be a scam.

I TOO REC'D ONE OF THESE RINGS, I DID NOT ORDER IT..WHAT ARE WE TO DO WITH IT OTHER THAN SEND IT BACK AND HAVE TO PAY FOR THE RETURN POSTAGE? VERY OFFENSIVE.....
I got a ring too today, the same one, I ended up scanning their barcode because I wanted to see if I could communicate with them to return it and hopefully that alone won’t lend me into trouble and be scammed by them since I have scanned their barcode. Frustrating really

That’s the same ring that I received and another comment above has it right. I, too ordered from ousell and got the run around when nothing came. The ring is a consolation prize! Scammers!!!! Sadly, I also ordered the E bike the was priced too good to be true, and got the fake Raybans instead. When will I learn?!?
