16+ days with covid symptoms, Manchester, UK

I know of one person that died of COVID-19 (overweight, been in Northern Italy) .
I have also had symptoms for 16 days.
The virus is real but the response is disproportionate.
Here is my timeline:

Day 1: myself and my girlfriend start coughing (throat cough)

Day 4: My cough becomes chesty, my girlfriends cough ends

Day 8: My tonsils start feeling like shards of glass

Day 9: Hurts to swallow.

Day 11: Cough ends

Now: Sore throat continues

The products have the potential to contain methanol (wood alcohol) and be sub-potent for the ethanol content. Risk Statement: The use of sub-potent hand sanitizer products can have adverse health consequences related to infections. Ethanol levels below the label claim can result in a lack of efficacy. In addition, methanol has inferior antiseptic properties compared to ethanol. Substantial methanol exposure can result in nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system or death. Although all person using these products on their hands are at risk, young children who accidently ingest these products and adolescents and adults who drink these products as an alcohol (ethanol) substitute, are most at risk for methanol poisoning. To date, Grupo Asimex de Mexico SA de CV has not received reports of adverse events related to this recall. Recall details: Company Announcement The Protein Shoppe, LLC is voluntarily recalling all lots... See Moreof “Red-E” (Male Enhancement tablet) to the consumer level. This recall has been initiated after an FDA laboratory analysis found the product to contain undeclared sildenafil, a Phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor which is the active ingredient in an FDA approved drug used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

The presence of sildenafil in Red-E renders it an unapproved drug for which safety and efficacy have not been established and, therefore, subject to recall. The undeclared PDE-5 inhibitor in the product may pose serious health risks to consumers with underlying medical issues. For example, PDE-5 inhibitors may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) lowering blood pressure to dangerous levels that is life threatening and could result in serious adverse health consequences. Consumers with diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease often take nitrates.

To date The Protein Shoppe, LLC has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall. The product, Red-E (Male Enhancement tablet), is marketed as a male enhancement nutritional supplement, the product is a scored octagonal tablet with “Red” embossed on either side of the score line on one side of the tablet which is contained in small plastic bag with a black label stapled to it, UPC. The Red-E pill was sold online at the website: www.rgvproteinshoppe.com.

The Protein Shoppe, LLC is notifying its customers with this press release and is arranging for return of all recalled products. Consumers that have The Red-E pill (male enhancement tablet), which is being recalled, should stop using and return to place of purchase. Consumers with questions regarding this recall can contact The Protein Shoppe by phone at 956-687-3539, Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM CST.

There is a risk that a person with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts could unintentionally consume a product containing peanuts because of this error. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The product was distributed to H-E-B and Central Market stores in Texas from March 19, 2020 to September 8, 2020. The product is packaged in clear, cylindrical PET bottles with black flip-top caps and clear labels with white print. The recall is for Pretty Thai Peanut Sauce with the Lot Code 0772000123. A small number of the Pretty Thai Peanut Sauce bottles were discovered to have been mislabeled as Pretty Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. Pretty Thai Peanut Sauce is yellow or gold in color, while Pretty Thai Sweet Chili Sauce is dark red in color. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the mislabeled product.

Pretty Thai and its manufacturer, Ponder Foods, have coordinated efforts with H-E-B to remove all of the affected product from the shelves and from distribution. Out of an abundance of caution, we are alerting consumers in Texas who may have purchased either Pretty Thai Peanut Sauce or Pretty Thai Sweet Chili Sauce to check any product for Lot Code 0772000123. For consumers with no peanut allergy, this Lot Code of Pretty Thai Peanut Sauce, as well as any Lot Code of Pretty Thai Sweet Chili Sauce are completely safe to consume. See Moreall details: Company Announcement Bayshore Pharmaceuticals, LLC, Short Hills, NJ is voluntarily recalling one (1) lot of Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets USP, 500 mg, 1000 count bottles and one (1) lot of Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets USP, 750 mg, 100 count bottles within expiry to the consumer level due to the detection of N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) levels above the Acceptable Daily Intake Limit. This product was manufactured by Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh in June 2019, for U.S. distribution by Bayshore. Bayshore was notified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) that one lot (Lot number 18657) of Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets, USP 750 mg was tested and showed results for N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) levels in excess of the Acceptable Daily Intake Limit (ADI) and recommended recall of the one tested lot. Bayshore has agreed to recall this lot, and out of an abundance of caution, the company has tested samples from eight (8) lots of Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets manufactured using same API lot of the failed lot. Out of eight (8) lots, one lot (Lot number 18657) of Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets, USP 750 mg and one lot (Lot number 18641) of Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets, USP 500 mg have showed N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) levels in excess of the Acceptable Daily Intake Limit (ADI). Hence, Bayshore has decided to recall the two lots (Lot number 18641 and 18657). To date, neither Bayshore nor Beximco have received any reports of adverse events related to use of the product. Risk Statement: NDMA is classified as a probable human carcinogen (a substance that could cause cancer) based on results from laboratory tests. NDMA is a known environmental contaminant and found in water and foods, including meats, dairy products, and vegetables. Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets USP, 500 mg and 750 mg are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. - 15-oz. round plastic containers containing “Ukrop’s Chicken Salad” with a sell by date of “09/02/20”.

The product subject to recall bears establishment number “P-19979” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia. The problem was discovered after the firm received a consumer complaint reporting that the product contained almonds.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in retailer and consumers’ refrigerators. Retailers who have obtained these products are urged not to sell them. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

See Moreoducts due to levels of Aflatoxin that are potentially above the acceptable limit.  Aflatoxin is a naturally occurring mold by-product from the growth of Aspergillus flavus and can be harmful to pets if consumed in significant quantities. The potential for aflatoxin levels above the acceptable limit in these products was discovered by routine sampling performed by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry showing that a sample of a single 4-pound bag of one lot of the product contained elevated levels of aflatoxin. 

No illnesses have been reported in association with these products to date, and no other Sunshine Mills, Inc. pet food products are affected by this announcement. While no adverse health effects related to these products have been reported, Sunshine Mills, Inc. has chosen to issue a voluntary recall of these products as a precautionary measure in furtherance of its commitment to the safety and quality of its products. 

Pets that have consumed any of the recalled products and exhibit symptoms of illness including sluggishness or lethargy combined with a reluctance to eat, vomiting, yellowish tint to the eyes or gums, or diarrhea should be seen by a veterinarian. The affected products were distributed in retail stores nationally.  Retailers who received the recalled lots have been contacted and asked to pull these lots from their inventory and shelves. 

There are no other Family Pet®, Heartland Farms®, or Paws Happy Life® products or other lot codes of these products affected by this precautionary recall. Consumers who have purchased the recalled products should discontinue use of the product and may return the unused portion to the place of purchase for a full refund.
