UPDATE: The second vaccine at the beginning of February did give me MEDIUM side-effects. First my arm got progressively more swollen and sore throughout the evening (shot was at 1;30 P.M. ) starting at about 7 that night. At 11:30 i started getting chills. And spiked a 102 fever. In the am it came down into 101’s. I had a headache and was achy. The thing is I was 100% back to normal the next day. And felt 90% back to normal the next night. One day of side-effects vs. a ventilator or having to deal with those miserable symptoms for 10-14 days (or worse) was priceless! I hope this helps others to not be afraid and go do it. 😊
My first shot was last Wednesday (1/13). I only experienced some arm soreness that night and even more the next day. By Friday all was normal. I am awaiting dose two. I expect some side effects for 24 hours after dose 2, as my brother who is an IM doctor got feverish and achy with some nausea and we react similarly to vaccines. He was fine after about 36 hours. I will take a day of symptoms over my life any day. I hope this helps somebody. | Symptoms: Soreness, Fever, Headache, Chills, Body Ache, Swelling, Nausea
