As of 6/18/2020 I was notified through another coworker that two girls I had been working closely with since the reopening of our store tested positive for COVID19. I was immediately alarmed and not only scheduled an appointment for myself to get tested but started digging a... See More little bit deeper into the matter. I started reaching out to these girls to try to find out why neither of them had let us know that they had tested positive to find out that management had told them to not tell any of the other employees what was going on within the store. Since this information has been obtained several of my coworkers that had been having mild symptoms (in which they informed the managers of and were told that they were "ok") have went and gotten tested themselves. We all promised each other that we would share our results because it had been made apparent that management was failing to inform us of this very important (and life threatening) information. As of yesterday 6-21 four more current employees have tested positive putting us at 6 total which doesn't even include the results that haven't come back yet. When the store reopened we were told that if we were offered our jobs back and failed to actually come back that we would be cut from our unemployment and "blacklisted" from the company, leaving us with no job. All of us hesitantly returned to work. Within two weeks temperatures stopped being taken, kitchen staff was being seen without masks and like previously stated if a girl came forward with any sort of symptom even if it were just mild it was dismissed as allergies or anything other than a COVID19 related symptom. One of my coworkers even worked for seven full days with these symptoms before she went and got tested. I feel as if the information being withheld is unfair and now we are all afraid. We are afraid for our health and afraid to even talk to management in regards to the matter because we know we are going to be reprimanded or talked down to for it. Employees have been dropping like flies because they are sick so that is leaving remaining staff to work crazy amounts of over time. One of the girls posted in our work related group chat that one of the managers told her yesterday that corporate will NEVER allow our store to close because our specific location is bringing in too much money. My coworkers are in danger, our customers are in danger and this is absolutely terrifying. We need help.

'- At least 6-8 waitresses have tested positive for Covid-19 since 06/18/2020. The employees are saying they are not taking temperatures. The management has told the floor managers not to tell any employees that other co-workers have tested positive, however, in group chats the employees all know.... See More - The employees have expressed concern about working and exposure and were told 'Corporate will not close our store, we are making too much money'. This is a total lack of respect for the public and employees. - Management said they wont close. The public is at risk and this is getting out of control. The General Manager has a responsibility to protect not only his employees but the general public, yet he is putting all of them at risk.

I was staying at a shelter in Lockport Cares and there was a Christian pastor at the shelter. Guess again. I assume Lockport cares is possibly food poisoning people. Lockport cares gives you bag lunches , breakfast and dinner.

For 2 nights there is always corn or brownies during Bible study at 8pm at night.

I'm not allowed back because I claaid they were food poisoning people
I told the police when I dialed the ambulance.

My blood sugar was low and I was coughing up blood and my teeth were bleeding.

Also there is a hazard for COVID 19. The manager allows COVID 19 positive to stay there without mandatory mask
You are not required to wear mask indoors.amd of you are positive for covid 19, you are not required to wear a mask. There is a woman positive for covid 10 not wearing a mask everyday spreading her disease. Lockport Cares allows kids and married couples to stay the night also.

Lockport cares should be shut down for biohazard. Covid positive wear no masks. A mask is not required for covid positive people.

For residents who were impacted by the boil water advisory on 6/29/22. The Water Boil Advisory issued by the Town of Schererville Water Department has been LIFTED. Water test results revealed that no contaminates of any type were found in the water distribution system.

Management continually allows customers in the store that are not wearing masks. A number of them take it off as soon as they enter the store or have their nose outside the masks. There are also a couple employees who don't even put it over their nose.... There has been 2 positive COVID-19 employees and there has been nothing done about it. They continued to work knowing they were positive and management would not allow other employees to get tested. The restaurant is closed every Monday but no cleaning/sanitation is ever done.
