2022. The test was granted Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on October 28, 2021. To date, Detect has not received any reports of false negative results related to the affected lots and is issuing this recall out of an abundance of caution.

The reliability of positive test results is not affected.

Detect is notifying all customers and distributors affected by the recall. Anyone in possession of any unused tests from the affected lots should dispose of the tests. The outer packaging is recyclable while all the test components can be discarded as regular trash. Detect Hubs are not affected by the recall and do not need to be discarded.

Test users who attempt to use recalled tests will be notified in the Detect App™ that the test has been recalled and may not be used.

Detect, Inc. will issue a refund* for the affected tests (as verified by Detect) upon customers’ acknowledgement of receipt of the recall-related communication and confirmation that any affected tests in possession have been disposed of.

On the third trip I asked for an 8 piece and the lady said there would be a twenty minute wait so I asked for an additional order of two drumsticks non spicy and she said it would 30 minutes. I responded with “are you kidding me.” We left. Well tonight, Jan 18, 2023, we preordered our chicken online to be ready at 8:07pm. We arrived there at 8:09 and there was a car placing an order. I figured all I need to do is proceed to the window which I did. The car that was ordering drove by us about 3 minutes later, I assume it was one having to wait 20 minutes for their order but decided not to wait. We sat there at the window and no one was there for 5 minutes, that includes the front registers in the restaurant as well. Just after that an employee walks by and looks at me directly in the eyes as I was waiving for her and she keeps going about her business. Not one word. I start knocking on the window and no one responds. About 4 mins later I wave at the same lady and she comes to the window and says she is busy helping other customers, while no one else was behind me, and closes the window before I could tell her we had a togo order. 3 or 4 minutes later she came back to the window and started telling me in a frustrated louder voice that “you need to stop at the box, you need to stop at the box.” I said we were here for a togo order but she kept saying “you have to stop at the box.” I am thinking this is ridiculous and told her when she locked eye with me that she did not even acknowledge my existence. She would not get off stopping at the box so I said we are here to pick up or order. Not sure what company policy is but whether I stop at the box or not when picking up my order and an employee sees me I expect acknowledgment by nodding a head, throwing up an index finger meaning just a minute. I was not expecting to argue with a Popeyes employee whether I stopped at the box or not. Best scenario would have been the employee brush off the attitude open the window and say something like “hi, ever ordered off the app before.” That way she would have known this is our first time and explained us Popeyes policy or if was her policy. The Popeyes website does not indicate having to stop at the box first so, anyway. After these four issues when dealing with Popeyes we have decided to not visit that store ever again. Seems as if these days employers hire people that should be better at customer service. Just to say, I am one of those guys that believe the customer is not always right but in this case of very poor customer service I know I am right. I have a Master Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Human Resources and have studied this kind of behavior on the job and have faced many different scenarios. Employees like this poison the other employees and if I was the Manager she would be counseled and if future infractions take place termination of employment would be very likely. No receipt was provided, this may be because I told her I was going to contact the corporate office.

Initially quoted at around $1,500 for paving or masonry work, these scams can quickly spiral, with claims of foundation damage leading to costs of $20,000 to $30,000 for structural engineering consultations. To avoid falling prey to such scams, residents are advised to be vigilant. Common tactics employed by these scammers include::

· Door-to-Door Solicitation – Paper flyers with uninspired business names (A1 Paving, City & Town Paving, etc.)

· Will offer discounts because of “left over materials” from neighborhood jobs

· High Pressure – will exaggerate need for work to be done immediately

· After initial work may show threatening or intimidating demeanor

· They will ask checks be made out to them individually and not the company name

Residents should know many of these individuals are traveling to the US under a program that DOES NOT allow them to work during their 90-day visit. Most of the scammers identified are traveling from Ireland and the United Kingdom. Residents are also reminded much of the work being done by these scammers require City of Boston Building Permits. In addition, the companies are not registered with the City or State and may have a recently established website.

Any unknown person approaching you to do ANY work on your home should be viewed as a potential scammer. Residents who feel they have been victimized should contact their local police district and provide as much information as possible including vehicles and plates.

Remember, for any work on your property you should obtain a minimum of two estimates from reputable companies who will carry the appropriate insurance, licenses, apply for the appropriate permits and provide references and coverage to you for their work after completion.

Risk Statement: In the population most at risk, immunocompromised population, there is a reasonable probability that microbial contamination of Atovaquone Oral Suspension can result in disseminated, life threatening infections such as endocarditis and necrotizing soft tissue infections.

Atovaquone Oral Suspension, USP is indicated for prevention and treatment of Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia (PCP) in adults and children 13 years of age and older who cannot tolerate other medicines, such as trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole.

The product is packaged in a carton. The identified NDC # associated with the product is 50268-086-12, UPC # 5026808612 and the affected lot# is AW0221A with an expiration date of 08/2025.

AvKARE, LLC is notifying its distributors and wholesale customers by mailings and email communications method and is arranging for returns of all recalled Atovaquone Oral Suspension, USP. Wholesalers who have Atovaquone Oral Suspension, USP 750mg/5mL, which are being recalled, should examine their inventory and cease dispensing, return any of the impacted lots to AvKARE, LLC. Consumers that have product which is being recalled should stop using the product and return it to place of purchase.
