People across the USA have been receiving empty packages in their mails, many of these have listed the sender as an “online seller”. Experts suggest that the situation it’s part of a scam called “brushing” in which third-party merchants create fake transactions and complete them with tracking numbers and confirmations that the packages have been received.

SCAM. Check your credit card bills, call your credit card/bank, they will put a hold on charges while they investigate, then return your money. The scam is either "brushing" (look it up), or maybe you ordered one of those "Amazon pallets" (total SCAM.)
