Warning: H5N1 detected in certain lots of RAWR Raw Cat Food, United States

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced that specific lots of RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats have tested positive for H5N1 Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza. The affected products were distributed nationwide through retail stores and online.The warned products include:
- RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats
- In 2.5-pound plastic bags
- Containing 40 1-ounce sliders
- Marked with lot numbers
CCS 25 077 (Sell By 09/18/26)
CCS 25 093 (Sell By 10/03/26).
- Both lots tested positive for H5N1.
- The product is packaged in yellow and white bags with black lettering.
The issue was identified after a cat that consumed the product from Lot CCS 25 093 was diagnosed with H5N1. The warning was initiated on September 3, 2025. The FDA continues to investigate the situation.
