DR Power Equipment has reannounced and expanded its recall of walk-behind and tow-behind leaf vacuums due to a laceration hazard. The recall affects approximately 60,250 units sold in the U.S. and 1,023 in Canada. The products were available at independent power equipment stores and online at DrPower website from September 2014 through June 2025 in the United States.

HAZARD:
Parts inside the recalled leaf vacuums may break free, or debris may puncture the chute, causing material to be expelled and creating a risk of cuts to users or nearby individuals.

- Various models of DR Power Equipment leaf vacuums, including model numbers WL33006DMN, WL35008DEN, LL31027DMN, and LL21009DMN, among others.
- These units have "DR" printed on the motor housing.
- The recall includes models with different configurations and sizes, but specific quantities for each model are not provided.

The issue was discovered after 46 reports of loose pieces being ejected from the units, though no injuries have been reported. The recall was initiated on January 8, 2026.
