Pomona has issued a recall for URMYWO baby loungers due to risks of suffocation and falls, violating infant sleep product standards. These loungers were sold on Amazon from January 2024 through April 2025 through United States.HAZARD:
The infant loungers fail to meet the required safety standards for sleep products. The sides are too low to properly secure a baby, and the sleeping pad is thicker than allowed, creating a risk of suffocation. Additionally, an infant could slip out through the opening at the foot of the lounger or become trapped. Since the loungers lack a supporting stand, there is also a risk of falls. These hazards make the loungers unsafe for sleep, potentially leading to serious injury or death.
AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- URMYWO baby loungers
- In the "grey feather" style.
- The loungers feature a gray cloth cover with feather prints, a foam sleeping pad, and padded bumpers.
- Labels on the side read “URMYWO” and “Model No: UMCZC01AE.”
- Approximately 23,000 units are affected.
The issue was identified as a violation of safety standards. The recall was initiated on September 4, 2025.
