HALO Branded Solutions Inc. has issued a recall for its Tumblers with Metal Straws . The recall is due to a laceration hazard posed by the metal straw. The tumblers were sold at Wawa stores in Alabama, Washington D.C., Delaware, Florida, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland.The product recalled is:
- A reusable tumbler with a metal straw
- Available in four styles:
“The Mermaid”, which is pink/green
“Island Surf”, which is blue/yellow
“Sailor Breeze”, which is tan/orange
“The Galaxy”, which is blue/pink.
- Each 24-ounce tumbler comes with a tan lid and has Wawa imprinted on it.
- The specific batch and UPC details have not been provided
- The recall affects products sold during August 2024.
- The product was manufactured in China and carries the recall number 25-025.
- Approximately 60,000 units have been distributed.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled metal straw that comes with the tumbler.
