Sanven Technology recalls Vevor Ice Crushers due to Fire Hazard, United States

Sanven Technology has issued a recall for Vevor Ice Crushers due to a fire hazard. The ice crushers, which can ignite during use, were sold online at retailers including Vevor, Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Home Depot, and Lowe's websites from July 2021 through July 2025.The recall affects:
- Vevor Ice Crushers
- With model numbers BY-300 and BY-300FS
- Available in yellow, red, silver, and blue.
- Approximately 11,650 units are affected in the U.S., with an additional 1,060 units sold in Canada.
- The products were marketed as Ice Shavers, Ice Crushers, and Snow Cone Makers.
- The ice crusher has a handle that consumers press down to feed ice into a shoot; the handle activates a cutter within the feed shoot.
- “Vevor” and the model number are printed on a label on the top of the product.
The issue was identified after two reports of thermal events, including one fire. The recall was initiated on December 11, 2025. The ice crushers were manufactured in China and distributed by Sanven Technology Ltd., based in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
