Walmart has issued a recall for Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stoves due to risks of explosion and fire, posing burn hazards. These stoves, manufactured by China Window Industry Co., were sold nationwide in the United States at Walmart stores and online from March 2023 to October 2025.AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
- The Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stove
- Model number BG2247A1.
- The stoves are dark green with an orange "Ozark Trail" logo.
- Approximately 201,000 units are affected.
- The model number is located on a gray label inside the fuel compartment.
The issue was identified following 26 reports of stoves exploding or catching fire, resulting in 16 injuries. The recall was initiated on November 26, 2025.
