Over 10.2 Million Metal Wire Bristle Grill Brushes recalled due to Ingestion Hazard, United States

Nexgrill Industries, Inc. has issued a recall for over 10.2 million metal wire bristle grill brushes due to an ingestion hazard. The brushes were sold at Home Depot stores and online in the United States from 2015 to 2026. Nexgrill has received 68 reports of this issue, including five cases requiring medical treatment.HAZARD:
Small metal bristles may come loose from the brush and remain on the grill or transfer onto food, creating a risk of accidental ingestion. If swallowed, these bristles can cause serious internal injuries that may require medical treatment or surgery.

These brushes have black plastic or wood handles measuring 18 to 21 inches.
The recall was initiated after reports of small wire bristles detaching from the brushes. The recall was announced on March 26, 2026.
