Outdoor Master Children’s and Youth Helmets recalled due to Safety Issue, United States

Maysun Products, Inc., doing business as Outdoor Master, has issued a recall for its children's and youth helmets due to non-compliance with mandatory safety standards. The helmets, sold online at the Amazon Website and the Walmart Website from June 2024 to February 2025, pose a risk of head injury. Approximately 24,300 units are affected.

HAZARD:
The recalled children’s and youth helmets do not meet the required bicycle helmet safety standards. They fail the tests for proper fit and adequate head coverage, meaning they may not stay in place during an accident. This increases the risk of serious head injuries or death.

- Labels: “OM-TD BIKE” and manufacture date “05/2024” printed on the inside label
- Branding: Outdoor Master branding printed on the back of the helmet

PRODUCT: Outdoor Master Youth Helmet – Model OM-KSKB
- Color: Deep green
- Padding: Black
- Straps: Yellow
- Buckle: Black
- Adjustment: Black plastic rear dial
- Size: Youth Small (S) - fits 46–52 cm (18.1–20.5 in) head circumference
- Labels: “OM-KSKB” and manufacture date “11/2022” printed on the inside label
- Branding: Outdoor Master branding printed on the front and back of the helmet

The issue was identified as a violation of positional stability and coverage requirements. No injuries have been reported. The recall was initiated on November 26, 2025.
