Meijer Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of its Meijer Steam Distilled Water due to the presence of a floating black foreign substance. The product was distributed across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin in the United States.The recalled product is:

- Packaged in 128 FL OZ (1 GAL) plastic jugs with a red plastic lid.
- It bears the UPC code 041250841197
- Sell-by date of October 4, 2026.
- The lot code is 39-222 #3
- With a total of 38,043 gallons affected.
The recall was initiated on November 13, 2025. The issue was discovered during routine quality checks. The recall is ongoing and has not yet been classified.
